Comfortable

The front desk staff who greeted us was full of enthusiasm and made you feel great. He helped us get around with directions smiled a lot and printed out plane tickets to our next destination. Beds were comfy, breakfast was amazing.

Bathrooms were not connected or beside our dorm, other dorm had closer bathrooms

The location is perfect.

The location is perfect. The blinds for each bed give you great privacy. The place is very clean and the facilities very good. Wifi is quick and available all over the hostel. Half price meals at the connecting bar is also a good perk.

Staff were hit or miss, some were not very friendly or helpful. It's noisey. I use ear plugs in hostels and still got woken up due to the open plan of the hostel and the connected party bar upstairs. If there was a door to the dorms this would solve this issue. Gas on the stove ran out for a whole day. We had bought groceries to cook up a meal but couldn't use the kitchen. Groceries went to waste.

Great location and facilities.

Great location and facilities. Staff are nice.

The air conditioning was insane - absolutely freezing. I politely asked the staff many times to decrease it, but despite saying they would, they did not and it actually got colder. I just couldn’t get warm at night despite burying myself under the blanket. I had asked for an additional one but the guy said no which I thought was super weird! I eventually had to change hostel.

What was the highlight of Bourbon St Hostal Boutique

Perfect hostel!

Honestly this is the only hostel where I have felt true and real privacy. The bedrooms have 10 beds but you don't even notice them as most people keep their blinds down all the time (even when they're not in bed). Inside your actual bed there is a hook (perfect for hanging your towel), a light and electricity ports for charging your electronics. There is also a nice little space to put bags or other things. The rooms had A/C and the showers had hot water which was great. The bathrooms were always clean. I had no issues whatsoever with noise, everything seemed quiet after 10 PM. The breakfast wasn't what I was expecting but I'm a little picky with food. Staff was always friendly. I didn't get a chance to try the pool since I ended up getting a flu right before I arrived, but it looked great. The location was perfect and I could easly walk anywhere and everywhere. Overall I'm very happy I chose this hostel for my stay and I would stay here again without thinking about it twice!

Good hostel straight in the center walking distance to all highlights

Beatiful building , clean and super with AC in dorms, that a blanket was needed. The bunkbeds are very large and with a good curtain for privacy.

It was a kind of Party hostal.. fits good young people that want night life. The breakfast was a a little bit poor. The kitchen staff was not too friendly.

Had one of the best nights sleep I’ve ever had a dorm.

Had one of the best nights sleep I’ve ever had a dorm. The bed areas have all you need, loads of space, private and are really quiet and peaceful due to the amazing blinds and constant air con. You can sleep in the day no problem and don’t worry about the large number of beds in one room, you don’t notice. Nice to chill by the pool when the heat gets too much. The 50% off food upstairs worth it. Good bathrooms and sizeable too. Nice staff.

Only suggestion are more hooks to hang things - both in the bed area and the bathroom as one never seems to be enough.

Perfect getaway!

I really liked everything in this hostel. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was so good and perfect before a morning walking. Beers were cold and a reasonable price. The atmosphere at the pool area was so great then it’s very easy to make friends and have fun for solo travelers like me ;) 100% recommended. I hope to see you again guys!

All the areas were clean, the bathrooms very clean and...

All the areas were clean, the bathrooms very clean and modern, the community kitchen was clean, spacious. The lobby very cool with great staff. It’s great to have a pub/ bar upstairs and where you are allowed to free pass, 50% discount in food and cocktails just for your stay in the hostel

What was the highlight of Bourbon St Hostal Boutique

One of the best hostels I've ever been to!

Beds were super comfortable and allowed for privacy and lots of space for belongings. Dorms all had AC as well as throughout the common areas. The facilities were super clean and the bathrooms were always clean (and spacious). The staff, (Enrique, Octavio, Andrea,) was super friendly and helpful and fun. The lobby and leisure areas were so nice and comfortable. The hostel put on fun events certain nights of the week. 50% off certain menu items at the bar upstairs. Breakfast every morning was included and delicious. This place makes it easy to meet people and made me want to stay.

Highly recommended, one of the best hostels I've stayed in!

The decor was beautiful. The bunk beds were solid and very spacious - ample bench space to put all your belongings and a blind on every bed for privacy. I loved the private shower room. The staff were super amazing, helpful and friendly. Really nice areas to chill out, relax and socialize. Great location and proximity to everything. They have a Game of Thrones viewing every Sunday night!!
